The first link I gave in my first "logos" reply had the link that provided
a bigger version of the moose and other logos. Still, the goal is a mock up
so even a 400x400 box that said "logo goes here" would work to
conceptualize the design. The logo itself is not the interface and
shouldn't be the center of attention. People come to the site for other
reasons and the logo is just part of the identity. You're certainly welcome
to design your own logo as well.
As for the background, something that looks fantastic. I'd probably lean
towards something light instead of dark given we've been on black for
several years now, but it's entirely open to interpretation.
As for the task, you've already completed the work that it asked for, so
you get credit regardless. If you'd like more time to work on it, though,
we can certainly extend the deadline as long as you like.
