The first four icons of social media are designed with keeping in mind
there logo's and colors as they can be easily identified.
The next set of icons are in two colors pink and dark-grey. This is because
in BRL-CAD website(http://cpp-tricks.com/brlcad/) most of the buttons are
in pink and text is in dark-grey so pink and dark-grey icons would go with
the them of website.
All the icons are flat and have long shadow. The flatness gives it
simplicity which makes it easy to view and the long shadow's gives it a 3D
look. Combining thses two gives it simlple yet professional look and feel.
