Hi Jodie,
Thank you for your splash screen design. I'm not sure, though .. it makes
me want to PARTY ... not work on 3D modeling. ;-)
I don't think including a byline would add much value to this design. What
I think would help, though is a different background that has some relation
to CAD and/or 3D graphics.
For example, you currently have a lot of "sphere-like" shapes made with a
image editing program like Photoshop. It would have been perfect had those
spheres actually been modeled using BRL-CAD. Still, the background doesn't
have to be something you create. Perhaps you could use a (very) zoomed in
portion of some rendering we have in our gallery: http://brlcad.org/gallery/
