Thank you for your suggestion I will add CAD in there. I used the animate tools in powerpoint to move and rotate the parts. You can go to the animation tab and click animation pane to get a look at the animations being done. So here are the steps I went through:


Get Logo off Google Images
Split logo into two parts (the black and the red)
Animating each part separately, duplicating them as necessary. I specifically used the spin and motion animations to rotate and move the two parts.
Saved the PPT as an mp4 (Save As -> MP4)
Went to http://image.online-convert.com/convert-to-gif
Uploaded the mp4 and got a gif.
