few improvements
Here are a few suggestions:
Please see http://brlcad.org/wiki/Logo for a more up-to-date version of our
logo.
We prefer US spelling of the word modeling (and all other words).
The fade on the background makes it very difficult to see the text.
It's imbalanced -- there's a lot of empty space on the bottom half of the
design.
The dimensions of the image don't seem to match a Facebook banner.
The design is quite simplistic, which isn't necessarily a bad thing but
this design doesn't seem to add much in the way of originality. I suggest
looking at some of the completed Facebook design tasks from last year (they
were better than most from this year..).
