Doesn't ring any bells with me.. There is a 'cat' command but not a 'cut' command. What did it do? Do you recall a version where that worked? I checked the history back through 4.4 and didn't see a reference to it. There is an old BSD/UNIX command-line command called 'cut' that is used for parsing out lines and columns from a file, but that's not part of the package. Cheers!
