The earliest I can find reference to the deprecation of lgt is 2004 (in the svn lgt.c logs, but I can't find it in CHANGES). Isn't it time to kill it?
I know I raised an objection early on at the first announcement (2004 or maybe earlier), but I and have moved on to rtedge and we at ManTech no longer use it. Let that old code die--please!
