Dear BRL-CAD Community, Hello everyone! My name is Shoaib Khan and I'm a new subscriber to the users and developers mailing lists. I'm currently an undergraduate student in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE). I discovered BRL-CAD through the **Google Summer of Code (GSoC) program** and have been very impressed by the project's history and capabilities. I am particularly interested in BRL-CAD because of its **open-source nature** and the opportunity to **contribute to a substantial C/C++ codebase**. I am looking forward to exploring the source code, learning about solid modeling, and hopefully making meaningful contributions. I have successfully subscribed to the brlcad-users and brlcad-devel lists, and I plan to start by reading the documentation and archives. Thank you for maintaining such a valuable tool and resource.
