[quoted lines by Mgr. Janusz Chmiel on 2019/01/09 at 22:29 +0100] >Why those HUBS, which charge connected devices to it and also Android device >do not exist?
USB is designed around the concept of a host connected to devices. As such, the role of the host is to provide power and the role of a device is to consume power. When you use a powered hub to charge your devices, the phone/tablet must still be acting as the host in order to communicate with the devices. since the phone/tablet is acting as a host, the hub can't provide power to it. -- I believe the Bible to be the very Word of God: http://Mielke.cc/bible/ Dave Mielke | 2213 Fox Crescent | WebHome: http://Mielke.cc/ EMail: [email protected] | Ottawa, Ontario | Twitter: @Dave_Mielke Phone: +1 613 726 0014 | Canada K2A 1H7 | _______________________________________________ This message was sent via the BRLTTY mailing list.
