Hello DAve, Alas no, after trying to start brltty which stops at the same point, (bluetooth or usb), I made a killall brltty, and the reply was, No process belonging to you was found.
brltty is up-to-date (from GitHub). it compiles quite well here. I join the logfile perhaps it will be helpful. Please can you tell me in which file. that i can look up, i can try to see what i can
