The encouragement I had in mind was for folks porting pmOS to various phones. I agree that end users shouldn't have to worry (much) about technical details. That said, it may be that each phone will only support certain adapters. So, the procedure might be a bit more like this: * I go to a HowTo page and find a phone and adapter that work together. * I find a way to purchase them, possibly via Amazon or eBay. * I have no technical expertise and expect it to just work. * I ask for help (e.g., on a mailing list) if it doesn't. -r _______________________________________________ This message was sent via the BRLTTY mailing list.
