>Are you running brltty as another non-privileged user?

When I run brltty as root it works. When I run it as brltty it doesn't. Insofar
as sound is concerned, the brltty user is in the audio gruop (for ALSA) and the
pulse-access group (for pulse audio). Sound works fine for me with brltty
running as the brltty user using eSpeak-NG.

>The logging level doesn't change whether the file is created or not.
>Perhaps your distribution is putting the logs somewhere else in /var/log
>or others.

I have both /run/speech-dispatcher/ and /var/log/speech-dispatcher/. No files
in either of them.
