Then, as near as I can tell, it's a weakness of the Speech Dispatcher API. I don't hear line indents when using sd eitehr. The line's indent and its text are spoken separately. If the indent is spoken then an option is used when speaking the text to tell the speech driver to enqueue the text without interrupting what's currently being spoken (i.e. the indent). This works nicely for all other drivers, but it seems that sd insists on interrupting whatever is being spoken when the next thing comes along. Thus, when the text is to be spoken the speaking of the indent is interrupted. Maybe someone here knows a way to tell sd to enqueue rather than to interrupt. I'll look some more but, so far, haven't foudn it. -- I believe the Bible to be the very Word of God: http://Mielke.cc/bible/ Dave Mielke | 2213 Fox Crescent | WebHome: http://Mielke.cc/ EMail: [email protected] | Ottawa, Ontario | Twitter: @Dave_Mielke Phone: +1 613 726 0014 | Canada K2A 1H7 | _______________________________________________ This message was sent via the BRLTTY mailing list.
