Probably solved. I started brltty while the root partition was still mounted
read-only so its file system could be checked. It didn't hurt with 6.1
but does
with 6.3.
Starting brltty instead after the root partition has been re-mounted
read-write,
I can kill the daemon with a signal 15 and using the options -b tt -d
/dev/tty2
I do have the spoken words displayed in /dev/tty2.
I will have this tested by users but am pretty confident it's OK now, will
report their feedback anyway.
Thanks for the help and sorry for the noise.
Best regards,
Didier
