Hi. I am very confused about starting and stopping brltty these days, particularly with 6.3.
I am getting lots of things in my logs like Feb 21 11:46:46 ccs.covici.com systemd[1396550]: brltty@-sys-devices-pci0000:00-0000:00:14.0-usb1-1\x2d10-1\x2d10.3.service: Failed to determine user credentials: No such process Feb 21 11:46:46 ccs.covici.com systemd[1396550]: brltty@-sys-devices-pci0000:00-0000:00:14.0-usb1-1\x2d10-1\x2d10.3.service: Failed at step USER spawning /sbin/modprobe: No such process ░░ Subject: Process /sbin/modprobe could not be executed ░░ Defined-By: systemd ░░ Support: https://gentoo.org/support/ ░░ ░░ The process /sbin/modprobe could not be executed and failed. ░░ ░░ The error number returned by this process is ERRNO. Feb 21 11:46:46 ccs.covici.com systemd[1396551]: brltty@-sys-devices-pci0000:00-0000:00:14.0-usb1-1\x2d10-1\x2d10.3.service: Failed to determine user credentials: No such process Feb 21 11:46:46 ccs.covici.com systemd[1396551]: brltty@-sys-devices-pci0000:00-0000:00:14.0-usb1-1\x2d10-1\x2d10.3.service: Failed at step USER spawning /libexec/brltty/systemd-wrapper: No such process ░░ Subject: Process /libexec/brltty/systemd-wrapper could not be executed So, what is happening here? I used to just have a service which would start and stop it manually, now that seems to be inconflict with something. Not sure what module its looking for. Thanks. -- Your life is like a penny. You're going to lose it. The question is: How do you spend it? John Covici wb2una [email protected] _______________________________________________ This message was sent via the BRLTTY mailing list.
