Hi,
I need clarification about the Micro USB host adapter, as referred to in the BRLTTY On Android documentation, in particular for connecting a Braille device via USB. My Braille device, the Brailliant BI 40, uses a Micro USB port, but I'm a bit confused, as it is not that connector which renders the device a host? It is the USB-c end of the cable plugged into the Android device's USB-C port which renders that device the host? So is that end of the cable otherwise the same as any USB-C connector? Or is this a separate adapter that fits onto the USB-C end of the cable? And what happens if the Braille device also has a USB-C port, such as in the case of the new Brailliant BI 40 X or BI 20 X models? Wouldn't that situation require a different sort of cable again?
