Ok does the pi auto reconnect when I turn on the Orbit reader 40. If yes
how do I disconnect so I can let brltty re-connect. I can always reflash
the whole image but that would be an extreme way of clearing the Bluetooth
connection I think.

Just to be sure, you might try explicitly specifying the bluetooth device
address. So, for the device, specify bluetooth:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx.
