Hello, I have an APH Chameleon 20, and I am trying to connect to it using Bluetooth on Linux. I am using Arch Linux with kernel version 5.6.19, BRLTTY 6.5, and Bluez 5.6.5. It works fine connected with USB, and I know that Bluetooth works because I can use my Bluetooth headphones. I paired it with Bluetoothctl and trusted the device with the trust command as well, but when I run the connect command, it connects and immediately disconnects again, whether or not BRLTTY is running. When I activate my computer’s name on my display, it says device selection failed. I tried specifying Bluetooth: followed by my display’s MAC address as the braille device name in brltty.conf and on the command line, but that did not work either, even with hw specified as the driver instead of auto. I installed BRLTTY from the Arch Linux repository, so do I need to build it from source? Is there anything else I should try? It works with Bluetooth on Windows with NVDA and JAWS on the same computer. Sent from Mail for Windows |
