Ok, picked up your update from GIT, then
./configure -q
I get these warnings:
configure: WARNING: Libbraille package not found: /usr /usr/local
/usr/local/Libbraille /usr/local/libbraille /opt/Libbraille
/opt/libbraille /mingw /mingw/Libbraille /mingw/libbraille

configure: WARNING: Theta package not found: /usr /usr/local

Are these necessary for Debian?
Thanks.

If I compile the latest release from source I find that the Python package
python-all-dev has no installation candidate. I assume it wants
python3-all-dev. If this is correct the developers may want to update the
file
Tools/reqpkgs.d/debian:python-all-dev
Thanks. Done. Both were actually in the list so the change was to just remove
python-all-dev.
