I have been trying to follow the instructions on this page that Didier posted: https://brltty.app/doc/Linux.html
But commands such as brltty-setcaps cannot be found on my system (Ubuntu 23.04). I've tried reinstalling BRLTTY and even downloaded the latest version as a .deb but I cannot install it as it telling me it's missing certain parameters. I still have a lot to learn about Linux and don't understand some of the things I am reading. I had no problem with Ubuntu 22.04 prior to the Linux 6.2 update. There are three capabilities not granted, as shown below. Can anyone tell me how I can go about granting these permissions. brltty: required capability not granted: cap_sys_admin (for injecting input characters typed on a braille device) brltty: required capability not granted: cap_sys_tty_config (for playing alert tunes via the built-in PC speaker) brltty: required capability not granted: cap_mknod (for creating needed but missing special device files) Many thanks, Paul
