Hi all, A friend of mine is using an old Alva Satellite braille display which is still in very good condition. So i installed NVDA and BRLTTY, because it seems that BRLTTY is supporting it. As a serial to USB adapter we are using one from prolific, according to the device manager. In the BRLTTY config tool i selected the alva driver and then the com3 port which is the one the adapter is emulating. Though i seem to get no connection to the display. Anyone knows why? I have a very old Tieman Combi Braille 45 which was very picky about the serial to USB adapter. There i had to use one from digitus.
Which are the settings this old Alva needs to work? Greetings and thanks, Simon _______________________________________________ This message was sent via the BRLTTY mailing list.
