Hi,
brltty already supports overriding files in /etc/brltty via files in
~/.config/brltty and XDG_CONFIG_DIRS.
Would it be possible to extend the code to support the so called
"stateless" configuration paradigm, i.e. reading the default
configuration files from /usr/lib/brltty while allowing overriding them
in /etc/brltty (and in ~/.config/brltty and so on)?
The stateless configuration pattern simplifies the update of packages in
Linux distros and gives system administrators a way to define local
configuration without changing any distro-provided files.
Regards,
