Okay, so enabling Bluetooth connections resolves that problem. I'll look for a 
way to make that requirement a little more obvious. It should really bring up 
the dialog when brltty is started for the first time but that isn't easy from a 
background service.

Please try the latest apk to see if the next problem is resolved. If it is, and 
if you have a USB braille device, could you please try connecting it to see if 
that still works?
