But woulnd't there also be kind of a time out consideration to distinguish short from long press? Also, I imagine all the modern braille displays do send codes for both presses and releases? Still I know old displays which did not do that and only sent one code, either when the key was pressed or when it was released. But that, if correct, does certainly not prevent the introduction of a commmand for doing bracketed paste.
