Oh! Thank you for the investigation work, Samuel! Gives some hope. Sadly, I won't propose myself for the job and after all perhaps we don't even need such big consoles.
It's jsut that, in my experience, when the virtual consoles are not explicitly configured, then they become very big, typically beyond the 255 limit and then the screen is simply unusable with BRLTTY (and now I udnerstand why). So I guess if we were able to support such big consoles, at least the user would have a nicer experience without having to resize the console, except to make the number of columns a multiple of the braille window size, of course. _______________________________________________ This message was sent via the BRLTTY mailing list.
