Hey, at the risk of asking a real noob question: I've encountered this problem before where in BRLTTY versions 6.7 and 6.8 the BRLTTY systemd service doesn't appear to initialise properly.
First time around was on a Raspberry Pi (Raspberry Pi OS/Bookworm, compiled BRLTTY 6.7 from source), second time around was just now on Arch Linux (BRLTTY 6.8, installed via pacman -S brltty). All the files appear to be in place except a BRLTTY systemd service definition. Am I missing some installation step? Is running a systemd service no longer necessary? Thanks in advance for replying! Kind regards, Tim _______________________________________________ This message was sent via the BRLTTY mailing list.
