Could you please send us a log file to look at? It's impossible to guess at what such a problem might be from a general description. To create the log, add these two lines to your brltty.conf: log-level debug log-file /path/to/logfile >What has been so severely broken in BRLTTY these days to make it almost >unusable? Nothing. It isn't broken although something new in the way arch is doing things may have broken it for your environment. That's why we need to see a log. -- I believe the Bible to be the very Word of God: http://Mielke.cc/bible/ Dave Mielke | 2213 Fox Crescent | WebHome: http://Mielke.cc/ EMail: [email protected] | Ottawa, Ontario | Twitter: @Dave_Mielke Phone: +1 613 726 0014 | Canada K2A 1H7 | ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ http://mielke.cc/xmother.html (Letter from a Feminist ex-Mother) _______________________________________________ This message was sent via the BRLTTY mailing list.
