I'm using GUI (X through i3/i38) rarely, so my experience is limited. I
need to copy and paste between native console and a terminal under X.
With BRLTTY (v.6.7) I can copy text from the console. But when I paste
it into the X terminal, a lot of characters are replaced, e.g.: an at sign
(") is replaced with quotation mark ("), an equal sign (=) is replaced
with backslash (\) and dash (-) is replaced with pluss (+). I'm using a
Norwegian keyboard layout, which may be of interest. As I was not able to use BRLTTY, I tried with xclip, which has worked for me previously. But now, what ever I do in the console, I get an error from xclip: `xclip: Error: Can't open display: (null)`. The version: xclip-0.13-24.git11cba61. I'm happy if someone has tips.
