Hi Daave,
Some like to make arrogant remakrts about people's opinions, but it is not
just an opinion I gave last week.
Naming a directory with overides /etc/brltty.d is not such a bad idea,
the choice of xdg is probably not a lucky choice.
Here on CentOS 7 there is a package xdg, looks like a desktop like kde
and mate and gnome, so the name is alread given away.
