Hi, use brltty 5.2(1). newer versions of brltty are getting creshed with nvda.
steps to instal: - instal brltty - when brltty config 0.5 pops up, choose Alva and com port which corresponds your adapter. - do not instal libusb so at next dialog press "no". that's it. in nvda braille settings choose brltty. display should be working. regards, Jožef 2017-03-29 18:27 GMT+02.00, Aquilino Rodrigues <[email protected]>: > Hello fellow members, > > I am trying to use an Alva Delphi display with NVDA on my windows 10 64 bit > machine. > > I went through the steps described in readme.txt: > - run brttycnf.exe and chose Alva and Com1 > - run python\Brlapi-0.6.5.win32 > > I am using a USB-to-serial converter configured to COM1. > > In NVDA I choose Brltty and get a error message - device not found (or > similar).
