Hello,

for transferring files to and from our Braille displays, you have the following
options:

- Use HTCom, which is available for Windows.

- For Active Braille and Active Star, remove the SD card while the
device is turned off, then transfer any desired files to or from it.

- For Active Star, turn on “mass storage” under preferences. The
device will then let you access its internal storage through the generic mass
storage protocol via USB so you can send and receive any files of your choosing.

- Finally, with Active Braille or Active Star, you can use the Direct
Transfer feature to transfer textual data from the Braille display to a
connected device. To do so, select some text in the internal editor, then press
chord+157 (capital E). This will transfer the text as if it had been typed on a
connected keyboard, so please make sure the other device is ready to take text
at that point.

Hope this helps.

Kind regards,

Felix

Betreff: [BRLTTY] Handytech displays question

Hi,

On some Handytech devices such as Activebraille, the user can transfer files
between the braille device and the computer, via htdoc. Does such program eist
with brltty? Or is there a workaround?

Thanks for your feedback,

Best regards,
