Have a look at README.Customize. >Is it possible to change Braille key bindings for a device? I guess the >answer is yes (I can change key mappings for me without affecting others) but >that might not be advisable. You can do anything you'd lke to for yourself. I certainly don't try to stop users from doing such a thing. If you follow the advice in README.Customize to place your changes in /etc/xdg/brltty/, and also to have your file include the one that comes with brltty, then you won't even lose them when upgrading brltty. >Do I need to edit the configuration file or is there a section in the >preferences to do it? There's nothing in the preferences. Just place your changes in /etc/xdg/brltty/. Of course, if your changes are a generally good idea, then maybe we should be picking them up. -- I believe the Bible to be the very Word of God: http://Mielke.cc/bible/ Dave Mielke | 2213 Fox Crescent | WebHome: http://Mielke.cc/ EMail: [email protected] | Ottawa, Ontario | Twitter: @Dave_Mielke Phone: 1-613-726-0014 | Canada K2A 1H7 | _______________________________________________ This message was sent via the BRLTTY mailing list.
