Hi! Here is exact what I specified on the command line: $ sudo killall brltty $ sudo brltty -L /media/KINGSTON/brltty.log -ldebug,usb,brldrv,inpkts,outpkts
Then I waited approximately 10 seconds. Then I pressed: dot 1 (a) 4 times, dot 2 (,) four times, dot 3 (.) 4 times and dot 7 (backspace) four times. Finally, I pressed up 2 times on the keyboard followed by enter, to kill brltty. An A appeared on the braille display shortly after I started to press on dot 2. A , comma appeared on the display shortly after I began press on dot 3. And a . dot appeared on the display shortly after I began press on dot 7. I have attached the logfile. Could you please post a log (attach it to a message to this list)? To capture the log, specify two additional options when invoking brltty. The first option is -L (uppercase). It specifies where the log file is to be. So, something like this: -L/tmp/brltty.log The second option is -l (lowercase). It specifies what's to be logged. In this case, please use: -ldebug,usb,brldrv,inpkts,outpkts Of course, if you're using Bluetooth then specify bluetooth instead of usb. When posting the log, let us know which keys you pressed, and in which order you pressed them. -- I believe the Bible to be the very Word of God: http://Mielke.cc/bible/ Dave Mielke | 2213 Fox Crescent | WebHome: http://Mielke.cc/ EMail: [email protected] | Ottawa, Ontario | Twitter: @Dave_Mielke Phone: 1-613-726-0014 | Canada K2A 1H7 | ------------------------------ Subject: Digest Footer _______________________________________________ This is a message digest of the BRLTTY mailing list.
