Hi,
because Ubuntu uses UTF-8, brltty's speech support doesn't speak German
correctly in the text console. As soon as there are German umlauts in a
word, SD doesn't speak the line.
Since it is not possible to change the codepage to iso8859-15 by running
dpkg-reconfigure locales
I want to ask, whether there is a way to get SD working with uTF-8?
dpkg-reconfigure locales doesn't bring up a dialog where you can choose
the codepage, as it uses to be under Debian. It automatically
reconfigures locales assuming that there is only UTF-8.
Regards
Hermann
