Hi, I was about to resend my post because I suspected you hadn't noticed it ;)
I run xbrlapi from gnome-terminal by typing "xbrlapi" without parameter. I run orca just after that to have Braille and speech support in graphical applications. I'm using the EuroBraille (eu) driver. I can't tell you more about the issue for the moment, I didn't have time to investigate into xbrlapi source code. But as I said, I'm quite sure that the problem is there since my migration to Ubuntu 8.04. Maybe a change in the X libraries ? P.S.: please, is it possible to choose another subject for the "brltty startup messages" question which for the moment share the same subject as the xbrlapi problem ? -- Olivier BERT Tél: +33(0)6 07 69 79 71 -----Message d'origine----- De : [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] De la part de Samuel Thibault Envoyé : jeudi 5 juin 2008 04:04 À : Informal discussion between users and developers of BRLTTY. Objet : Re: [BRLTTY] xbrlapi on Ubuntu 8.04 Hello, Just to let people know that I'm not forgetting this issue :) I have to admit I'm quite surprised that this happens: xbrlapi just translate the keysym into a keycode. Olivier, how do you start xbrlapi? Which braille device are you using? Samuel _______________________________________________ This message was sent via the BRLTTY mailing list.
