Err, no, you don't need it for Orca. brltty-x11 contains brltty drivers for x11: the fake X11 braille device, the screen reading driver for gnome (you'll need to run a second brltty for that), and xbrlapi to properly synthesize key presses in the X11 session (else brltty reverts to a qwerty layout).
