Perhaps the brltty program could be made to react more gracefully to such
events.  For folks relying on these accessibility components, robustness is
very important.

Hmmm....then this means it may possibly be Orca sending bad text.  I'm 
puzzled why it works so well on OpenSolaris, though.  :-(
