I want to test a doubletalk speech synthesizer, I was told to enter
the following from the command line I am running unix on a mac
The command would be:
echo "text" > /dev/ttyS0
...but the hal daemon might get in the way.
I tried this command and when I ran it my cursor dropped down a line
and I was able to enter text, but my doubletalk wouldn't talk. Just
wondering how to get this command to work.
