on unstable i installed a newer version of 2.6.32-5-686-18 to 2.6.32-5-686-19

tomorrow i'll see what i can get from experimental.

Thank you for doing that test. I'm not personally all that familiar with
Debian. Might you be able to try a newer kernel from a more experimental
release to see if the problem has or hasn't been corrected?
