The list provided by BRLTTY doesn't mean anything, it's always USB and
COM1 through COM16.  You have to check e.g. in the control panel to see
whether there's a virtual COM port provided by Papenmeier.

I actually see COM1 available in the device manager.
But at this time I can't tell if it's a virtual port or actually a physical com port.
I doubt that this Asus motherboard provide any Com ports.
I'll have to check more here.

Which version of libusb-filter did you install?

The version provided by the brltty 4.2.3 package.
