It would be nice if there was recognition in the usbserial infrastructure, 
that's all that's needed here.

To get this, you must first activate USB client mode, then plug in.  Otherwise 
you get a generic identification for use with ActiveSync.

Works absolutely splendidly with the "ipaq" (PocketPC Serial Converter) driver.

There was some amount of complication getting my install of SynCE not 
interfering with this due to Hal autodetecting and starting (attempting) a ppp 
link with it.  However, the effect is brief.  At some point I'll see about 
writing some hotplug rules, although, to be honest, the novelty has already 
worn off on this box since I actually do need SynCE to work with this 
BrailleNote and it is simpler to use the serial adapter than fight this.  The 
speed difference is really not noticeable.  If, however, there is interest in 
streamlining this further, please, get in touch.
