Hello Dave, more testing on this showed that the hangs are more often after "special" keys. Everything what is not a letter or a digit can cause those hangs. E. g. if you spell something with caps, the key gets doubled or tripled. That is also true for delete or backspace, both sometimes delete 2-3 characters. Most reproducible is it with Control+V followed by return.
