I haven't followed all this thread so pardon me if this has already
been discussed.
Am I right in thinking the BrailleStar is at home and the AB at work
(or the other way around?) If so you might take the BrailleStar to the
other computer and see if it works over there. That would rule out a
hardware problem on that computer.
