Guys, I'm beginning to hate brltty for android. I think I was expecting
something a bit more polished because of the version number and first
impressions have been very unsatisfactory. Hopefully you can help me out with
some things and get me back on track. I'm determined to make brltty work if at
all possible.

I'm using a humanware brailleconnect 32 on a google nexus 4 which I just bought
a couple of weeks ago.

I'm reading the help screen and most of the key bindings are hellatiously
counterintuitive. Can I get in and change them in a config file somewhere?
They are driving me up the wall.

Can I get brltty to save my preference for grade two output? I have my text
table set to canadian english and my translation table set to english grade
two. I pressed display keys 2, 3, and 5, which inexplicably is the hotkey to
change the display to grade two. So, the display shows grade two until I turn
off the display and device. When I turn them back on, I'm back in grade one.

I've tried saving the settings to disk with display 2, 4, 5,, 6, but it still
reverts to grade one. Since I apparently have the settings saved, I should be
able to restore them from disk with display 1, 2, 3, 5, but pressing that
combination renders nothing.

Is there a grade two input option at the moment? I suspect not. I haven't
seen anything about it so far in the help screen and there's no settings button
beside brltty input service to change things like the input grade and language.

There's supposed to be a learning mode accessible by display keys 1, 4, 5, and
6, but pressing that combination only freezes the display for 30 seconds to a
minute. During that time the braille won't change. Neither will the display
respond to any key presses. After some time, the display will go back to being
a display.

I'm sure I'll have more questions as I get playing around. Thanks for any
help, and have a relaxing weekend.
