Is there a way to add a keybinding speicific to one's braille display,
without
modifying the source code and recompiling? For instance, I want to create
a
keybinding to toggle braille translation on and off, without having to dig
through the preferences menu each time.
If the driver uses key tables then it'S as easy as editing a file. If it's
an
older driver which still uses hard-coded bindings then the code would have
to
be modified unless the driver is first converted to use key tables. I'm
not
sure which case is yours since you didn't say which driver you're
referring to.
Our goal, of course, is to upgrade all of the drivers to use key tables,
but
that hasn't been done yet.
