This means that your Linux keyboard is in a mode known as K_OFF. This is a new
one for me. :-) I'll have to look into it.
do we mean my main "QWERTY keyboard" or the "braille device" by that?
I have tried, as per readme file of the voyager drivers, to set the
following option:
--braille-parameters= InputMode yes
or variations of that because the syntax is not clearly defined.
also I added this line to the /etc/brltty.conf as per copying and
modifying a line above from a different device:
braille-parameters vo:InputMode=yes
all notifying me off an "unsupported parameter" or "missing parameter value"
