Hi. While most of you can use imagemagick directly to produce braille renderings of images these days, here is another way of using this functionality: http://img2brl.delysid.org
This web service lets you translate images by uploading, or providing an URL. It offers post-processing options like trim and resize. All of this is available with "convert" from ImageMagick from the command-line. But if you want a UI to this, you can use http://img2brl.delysid.org with lynx or your favourite web browser. If you are using it on the console, remember to configure a unicode braille font for your console, or BRLTTY will not be able to decode the unicode braille output from this web service. There is an API for producing parseable output in JSON. You can also strip off all meta-data and receive a plain unicode braille image, with the option mode=text. See https://github.com/mlang/img2brl#api -- CYa, ⡍⠁⠗⠊⠕ _______________________________________________ This message was sent via the BRLTTY mailing list.
