That's because you didn't log with the two additional options that I requested. The first option is -L/path/to/logfile. Note that this is an uppercase L. This option does two things. The frist is to write the log directly to a known file in order to isolate brltty logs from any other logs, and also to add timestamps to the log. The second is that it avoids any syslog redirection and/or filtering of debug logs, which is often done. The second option is -ldebug,usb,inpkts,outpkts. Note that this is a loercase l. This enables the relevant log categories so that we can see the needed information. And, as requested before, please capture this debug log on a Linux system (which'd be your Debian system). >I investigated a bit more. >when usb.c call libusb to read the reply from esys 40, >the response is -1, where focus retuns 64 bytes; >and as i understand the thing: > 1. or the interrupt is not set properly, > 2. or a filter block the reply. I'd appreciate it if you could please capture and send us the debug log rather than give us guesses and assumptions. -- Dave Mielke | 2213 Fox Crescent | The Bible is the very Word of God.
