Note that if the problem is sore thumbs, it can often be cured by stretching
out the muscles that flex the thumbs. Stick your arms out straight to each
side, spread your fingers and especially your thumbs, move your head from
side to side and note the positions that pull on the thumbs and hold them
till the pulling disappears. Other muscles in the arms, shoulders and neck
can also benefit from stretching.
