Thanks for testing it. I'll commit it to the development stream.

Yes. That's because the Preferences Menu is displayed in a virtual screen that 
supports full navigation. For example, the HOME function brings the braille 
display to the current cursor location.

I suppose, if there's enough desire for it, we could add a setting to the Menu 
Options submenu that would hide the cursor.
